I was gearing myself up for another blog post. I had a subject picked out but this one is too good to let sit too long.
Mark Wilkinson of Australia has started an online petition to have Ricky Traylor Chuck Dyer charged with fraud.
"Rick Dyer has taken
money from thousands of people to view the body of bigfoot which he has
traveled around the country displaying.
The body has been found to be a fake and we the people who sign this
online petition demand the United States Department of Justice charge
Rick Dyer with fraud."
Can anything really be accomplished? Why don't we find out together. I encourage everyone to sign this petition. At the very least, law enforcement just might take a look at Rick Dyer and his dirty deeds. Yesterday Rick released an "Official Statement" admitting the body is a fake. The prop was created by Chris Russell for Rick Dyer and Dyer acknowledged that Mr. Russell was hired to create the fake Bigfoot.
Therefore, Rick Dyer has admitted to knowingly committing fraud in Houston, San Antonio, Daytona and other towns.
Perhaps the IRS might even be interested in this fiasco of lies. We are assuming people paid cash to see the fake Bigfoot at various stops along the way, so the pertinent questions would be, did Rick charge sales tax? Was an accurate accounting recorded for federal tax purposes? I bet the IRS would like their share of the ill gotten profits obtained by Dyer.
I have already signed the petition. Please help Mark, yourselves and especially the victims of Rick's hoax by signing the petition.
