Shooting Bigfoot - Trailer

Well, here it is folks, the trailer for the documentary 'Shooting Bigfoot'. I asked Hot Docs via Twitter if there would be a trailer for this film and their reply was "Sorry, no trailer."
I wonder what happened and why things changed.

I watched this trailer three times and I'm trying to figure out how this is THE film to show the shooting of a living, breathing Ssasquatch. This documentary doesn't hint at the discovery of our life time.  All I see is comedy gold, and some fast talking. I'll  admit that I like Dallas and Wayne, but I could care less about the other two.
I noticed a few inconsistencies between Dyer's story and what was shown in the trailer but I'll be quiet and let you decide for yourselves.
Rick Dyer appears to be quite the Nature Boy (sorry Rick Flair). I didn't count the number of times Freezer Boy was in his boxers, but it was a few.
Without further delay, here is the trailer. Enjoy

  3. So Racer X, if this is a hoax who do you think is involved?

Musky Allen would have to be, unless he was himself tricked. Anything is possible, but I think the amount of money and coordination would be prohibitive. You would have to have some sort of eight foot bigfoot model that would have to pass as an organic specimen. You would also have to have access to a facility to house it. In addition there would be a need for actors at the facility. Not to be overlooked, you would have to produce legal paperwork and NDAs that would fool Allen. I just don't see how Dyer or even a small film company could pull that off.

As far as FB/FB goes, it is harder to speculate as we don't know what they supposedly know. Both Dyer and Allen hinted HEAVILY in one of the radio shows that they saw the body- but since they haven't actually said it's hard to say for certain.

Rick Dyer's deception would be on a completely different level than compared to 2008. He wouldn't just be telling lies to impersonal reporters but to people he has developed relationships to (and in full public view). There are the people who are buying memberships as well.

It will really be interesting to see how this plays out.

  4. Not only is there no evidence at all that Dyer killed a bigfoot, there is no evidence that he has anything at all in Las Vegas. I submit that Musky Allen was in on it from the beginning, and there is nothing at all in Las Vegas. No real bigfoot and no fake bigfoot. Therefore no money, no facility, and no coordination necessary.

  5. Currently my favorite quote from the movie, all be it from Dyer himself, after asked by Mathews what does it take to become qualified Bigfoot Tracker? Dyer's response "What does it take to become an asshole film maker", absolute classic Dyer statement. I remember having to help my grandmother when I was a teenager evict people from her trailer park, Dyer would have fit in perfectly.

  6. three reviews and a trailer.....yet still no mention of a dead bigfoot. It doesn't seem anyone is talking about this movie with a "serious" tone.

    1. The only thing that seems likely is something dramatic happens at the end. One review says they believe what happens at the end is likely a hoax, but suggests what is shown is a shooting of a bigfoot.

  7. In answer to the Musky Allen question above.I submit a question that has a plausible answer within itself. If the goal of a hoaxer is to fool everyone in the existence of something they do not believe in for profit, who better than a notorius (FB/FB words) skeptic who's goal is to show everyone they are foolish for believing such existence?

  8. To be fair it was a pretty grand plan. Musky Allen was in on it from the beginning. Dyer is jealous of any big BF site that may be making money. He tried to copy Shawn's blog and that plan failed. He must have been in awe of the hits and like that FB/FB (RIP) received.

This is where Allen came in. He started posting as an arch skeptic on the FB/FB site and soon gained some notoriety with Barnes & Anderson. The FB/FB guys were unaware that Dyer and Musky were an item so when the body story cropped up who else but our resident FB/FB skeptic Mr Allen would be invited to see the body....

Jack & Jeff couldn't back down. The Tent video had been heavily promoted by them and was vying with the PGF for the best BF vid EVER. The guys were in too deep so had no choice to back this one despite it possibly costing them everything.

Slowly the Dyer double talk, the reviews, the media pack and then the trailer would have convinced Jack & Jeff that they have been screwed by Dyer and due to the a BS bet their beloved site would have to close.

    Dyer 1 - 0 FB/FB

Could anything be salvaged? Could the humiliating switch off be avoided? There surely must be away at this late stage to stop being humbled by BF's most hated man Rick Dyer?

Today we saw FB/FB blame 'haters' for their amazingly unexpected YouTube account termination. Haters did not do this to Jack & Jeff. This was internet media suicide. It was the only way these guys could save face in this terrible situation they found themselves in.

FB/FB have taken much flak recently. Like the old saying goes 'Sleep with dogs, you'll wake with fleas'. Jack & Jeff aren't bad people, they've just made a calamitous mistake and lost plenty.

FB/FB is first to have bitten the dust. Who is next? Robert Lindsay? Chris Noel? The Cryptocrew? It's time to clean up Bigfooting once and for all.

    1. If you are saying that Musky and Dyer planned this out in advance, I would disagree. I do not believe Allen knew Dyer prior to the tent video coming out.

    2. Go look at Dyer's blog. Musky was there posting comments back in November. Raging against all the 'haters' and bragging about he and Dyer outing Shawn Evidence's identity. It's there, go have a look.

  9. Racer X, on Facebook you stated that Matthews or someone else shouted "Don't shoot Me" with no uncertainty in the trailer. I honestly think you are foolish to hold to that line. It seems like the various interpretations are "Don't shoot X" with x being me, it, Rick, or mate. It seems silly to argue such a small point, but I think this is one area where prejudices are coming out.
"The guy says "Don't shoot me". Give it up already, you are embarrassing yourself".

    1. According to Dyer someone says "Don't shoot it". But as we all know Dyer's not even in this movie, so what does he know?

    2. According to Dyer . . . hahaha according to the expert liar. I'd rather gather my information from the trailer itself and the reviews. This hoax is coming apart at the seams.

    3. I'm afraid it is you who is embarrassing yourself.

  10. Thank you Racer X, thank you so much for getting the trailer. I enjoy it and Rick has made it private now. Wonder why he'd do that? He's supposed to be so proud of this film that captured him killing a Sasquatch. People come on, how many times will this story have to change, how many times will the reveal date have to be pushed back before you realize he is just lying? He is a liar, a skilled liar, and I'd be willing to bet, a very low IQ.
